Morning ride with David Freeman and Mick Plunkett

Comfortable ride, nice and cool weather. A bit windy though, was supposed to be only gusting to 30mph but felt more like it was constant! Lots of climbing, 1400ft total, but none were insurmountable, Coffee at the Plough Yetholm, then a quick ride home with the wind behind us, stopping on the way to help a cyclist with a flat rear tyre, tubeless so a mini pump didn’t have the capacity to inflate. Luckily David had his track pump which worked a treat, they had called their back-up van, seems they were riding from Edinburgh to Newcastle but the van got there as we finished and they were able to get on their way.

  • TCX Course

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
