I was planning on riding to WS in the morning. But, my body had other plans. As I was about to depart, my gut started to act up. I took some Pepto, hoping the pain would subside in 10 to 15 minutes. It didn't. So, I hopped in bed and rested for about 2 hours. It was after 12pm when the pains subsided. It was early afternoon, but I decided to go riding, nonetheless. I headed out and I was thinking about going to the top of Highline and back. As I was riding, I had a change in plans. I decided to go to Alpine Forest and Back. The body felt lively, I wasn't expecting this. I made it to the end of OTR in good time, considering I was going into a slight headwind. Banducci went quick. I was redlining it over the top. The Alpine forest felt good. I was able to hold a high tempo most of the way. I was gassed, by the time I reached Lemans. I made my way to Banducci. At the summit, I took a few moments rest and then headed back down. From that point, it was mostly fun and games. Gear worked great. Concentration was good. Balance and form was good. No ailments. The gut behaved perfectly. Other notes, I saw about 3 cyclists today.
