Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

It's a cold day. In the 40's when I got out. I wore the standard winter kit. At least the wind was favorable, from the North West. Given the condition, I decided to refrain from pushing it too much. OTR . The climbs felt good, nonetheless. Making it to the end of OTR in average time. The Banducci wall felt good. I didn't have to red-line it, to get over it. The remainder of the climb was recovery and the push over the top with traffic mitigation. The descent went well. Seems like the kit was slowing me down by about 2 or 3 MPH. The trip to SS is so much more enjoyable with the new shoulder. It's perfectly straight, but, by the time I start to loose my patience, I've reached the end. I made it to the SS tunnel in about 1:06 hrs. So, I was posting slow times, and no need to push. The return trip went as planned. Made my way through the farmlands. I made it to Boss Hogs below average. But, I was expecting that. The last climb felt good. The legs were warmed up and I was able to hold a good tempo. I had to swap out the GoPro battery once. I had some mild right knee pains in the start of the ride. Some slight aches in the gut. Never escalated, but I had to drink water more than Accelerade. Concentration was good. Balance and form was good. Gear worked flawless. Other notes, I saw 1 cyclist and a runner.
