Decided to do the Salem Bike Club Monster Cookie route. Started from Keizer Rapids Park instead of McNary High School. This added about 3 total miles to the original course. Always have trouble getting out of Keizer. Need to make sure to get on the bike path at Keizer Rd NE. The next 5 or so miles goes by Volcano Stadium then over I-5 at Quinaby Rd. The course gets on busy Portland Rd for 0.4 miles then turns onto Quall St NE. The route goes through Labish Center and then on nice, quiet roads to the Willamette Pie Company and the first rest stop (mile 20.5). The next section eventually went into Silverton at James St. A little head/cross wind on this 10-mile stretch. The route goes through the Gallon House Covered Bridge and into Mt. Angel and the second rest stop at JFK High School (mile 35.2). Return to E Marquam Rd NE and continue to Meridian Rd. Head north on Meridian Rd for 2.2 miles into Monitor. Next is a 5.6 mile segment on Monitor-McKee Rd to Howell Prairie Rd NE. Better speed from Monitor to Labish Center Rd. The last 12.5 miles retraces the lollipop stem back to Keizer Rapids Park. Air quality was rather poor due to light northeast to east wind pushing smoke from the Austin Fire into the area.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
