I wasn't supposed to do a hard fast ride but was talked into it by Jamie. I figure I could rearrange my training. I was told this ride will not be that fast too. I wasn't sure I could handle a fast ride as my legs were still feeling Tuesday's ride. I met Jamie early so we could get in a few miles before the ride. There were 8 of us and it was windy too but semi warm. I surprised myself as the pace started to ramp up it didn't bother me as much as I thought it would. Then the pace got really hot and I was still feeling OK. When the pace got over 27 I was still feeling OK to my surprise. At one point Jamie and I decide to back it down since this wasn't really in our training plans. We let the group go but the group got down the road and decide to wait for us. We rode at an easy pace for about mile then the pace picked back up to the original pace. We were now about 6 miles out so Jamie and I decided to go along since it wasn't that far to the finish. Maybe my fitness is a little better than I gave myself credit for. However, I still need to stick to the training program and build my base as planned.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
