NEW OLH PR!!! (Total surprise)
Catherine was attempting an OLH PR. My legs weren't feeling great so I was just going along for the ride, hopefully help her out by being her carrot.
I had to pee before starting and I didn't realize she did too. So when I got going I thought she was already ahead of me. And it started off badly because my Garmin Live Segment told me I was already behind. It took me a while to realize that I was behind the KOM.
I kept pushing thinking I was going to see her around the next corner but I never did. And at the second sharp uphill right, the Live Segment was "off segment" and shut off so I was riding blind after that.
Towards the top, I was running out of gas and I didn't pick up the pace for the last few turns like I normally do. I did sprint for the end though and to my surprise, no one was there.
I thought about going back down but I was too tired and waited instead.
The alpacas on Mountain Home are back. Too bad they were eating at the back of their pen.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
