Night Rider started in the daylight, ride ended before midnight, an excellent night to ride started out warm and gradually to cool, breezy at start to calm winds at the end and no humidity! For the bad, as I was walking bike to start my left knee gave out on me out of the blue. I was wondering how far I could ride because of the pain. I started out prepared to turn around at any point. As long as I didn't put too mush pressure on the pedal stroke and did not pull up on the upstroke I was good. got out to Chesterfield, missed a turn got back on track and in Mansfield made a bad turned and ended up completely lost but I was on some very nice roads, finally popped out onto a road I knew. Now it was time to figure what I need to do make it a metric century... just go back towards home and come in the back long way. I took my first rest stop at 46 miles, relieved myself, dehydrated and refueled. Starting back up my left knee hurt so much I had serious thoughts if I could finish the rides. I had to push the pedals with more power but not pull up as before. Once I got 8 miles down the road I was good to go.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
