The trails were a mix of rockier than usual, maybe because the loose dusty dirt had been washed away or packed down by the recent rain, and pretty nice hero dirt.
I've been trying to get better at switchbacks, which I'm terrible at, especially downhill ones, and even more especially, left turn ones.
I made one of those left turn, downhill, switchbacks that I normally have to walk which made me more confident, maybe over-confident?
I came to another one that I normally have to walk and set up as high as I could on the trail and ended up slipping on some rocks that threw off my balance.
I tried to unclip and stop but because the ground was falling away from me, I could barely touch down. I tried to catch myself, hopped a coupled times but went over.
I think I hit with my knee and hip first, then my wrist and elbow. Got some scratches on my knee and elbow. My hip and, especially my wrist, are sore.
I'll figure it out some day.
Update: The wrist seemed to be the worst off. I think I've sprained it a little and hurts a little in certain positions.
The fleshy part of my palm is a bit swollen and bruised. There was also a little bit of swelling, the size of a quarter, in the middle of the top of my wrist this morning that went away in the afternoon.
I can only bend my hand up to 45 degrees instead of 90 though.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
