Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Fantastic weather today! In the upper 60's. Mild winds from the South East. Perfect for a ride into CV. The legs felt pretty good to start. I wore the cold Spring kit. I decided against removing layers. Not much to tell. I made it to the end of OTR in good average time. The Banducci wall went well. Not to much red-lining. I recovered at the summit and headed downhill a few moments later. I reached 44 MPH on the descent. The trek through the farmlands was mostly moderate tempo, going into the headwind. The last climb went well. I kept it steady. I wasn't pushing too much, but held a moderate tempo. I stopped once, after the last climb. The GoPro had about 38% charge remaining. From there it was traffic mitigation on Route 202. Then fun and games from there. Concentration was good. I'm still having a tough time concentrating in the past few days. All things considered, I guess it's an improvement today. Balance and form was good. Gear worked perfect. Ailments, maybe some hand soreness. Nutrition was good. I drank about 1/2 of my Gatorade. Other notes... I saw one cyclist. I was thinking about going out to WS on the next ride. Maybe park and ride near Tucker. Go all the way around to Sand Canyon and then back. More planning for that later.
