There were fifteen of us for today's medium ride to Maidenhead so we split into two groups led by myself and Ian Mac.
I led the first group off through Fulmer to Egypt, the Loiterers go to the most exotic places, and on to a coffee break at Burnham Beeches where we were shortly joined by group two.
Continuing on our way we skirted Farnham Royal and Burnham to pass through Taplow and on to Maidenhead and lunch at the Guardsman's Inn.
After lunch the route followed NCR4 along Green Lane through Braywick Park, through Bray, and over the Thames to Dorney Park. Here they are preparing for the Olympics and much work is in evidence. Onward through Eton Wick to join NCR61 up to Jubillee River and through Upton and Ditton Parks, where we rested while a puncture was repaired, and on to the Red Lion at Iver to meet the rest of the party. From here the group dispersed after an enjoyable ride.
