Sunday Lunch at The Kings Head, Cippenham

Six Loiterers followed Lawrie on an impromptu short ride on this very warm Sunday morning. We headed up Chandlers Hill and on through Black Park to our first stop at Pinewood Nursery, Wexham.
After our break Lawrie led us down through Baylis Memorial Gardens, Salt Hill Park, and Chalvey to Cippenham where we followed a maze of off road paths to the Kings Head for lunch.
After lunch we set off,mainly off road to cross the M4 and on to the Jubilee River which we followed to the A332, Slough Road where we were led on through a delightful Herschel Park then on through Lascelles Park on route to the A4 and Langley Road.
From here the route took us towards Middle Green then through the Pickfords Drive Mobile Home Park en route to Langley Park for afternoon tea and a guided tour of the Rhododendron Gardens.
We returned to Uxbridge through Iver Heath and down Chandlers Hill. Another great day's cycling.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
