Arboretum and Old Home Tour

Today was a bittersweet one. I attended a memorial for a dear friend and former coworker, which is of course, sad. But it was a nice event and I saw a lot of old friends and we all enjoyed sharing stories about Sharon.

After the service, which was at the Morton Arboretum, I hopped on my bike and rode the perimeter road all through the property. I think Sharon would have appreciated that as the Arboretum was one of her favorite places. And since it is so close to one of the places my folks lived, I did a quick ride by to see how the old place looks. Pretty much the same. Even the stone retaining wall that my dad built is still there some 25 years later. Not bad, old man.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
