Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

The weather is hot and I wasn't feeling in the mood to do an outdoor ride. Perfect day for an indoor session. I chose the London Hilly Loop. My intention was to do a negative split on the timed sections. I was sufficiently warmed up by the time I reached the base of the climb. I kept my HR below 150 BPM. Doing about 3 W/kg +/- about one half W/kg. The climb went quick. I was out of the saddle most of the time. I made it in the top 20. From there it was back to town. I put in a good dig through the tunnel riser reaching over 9 W/kg. My lap time was about 29 minutes and change. I was warmed up and able to put in a better effort on the second lap. The climb went as planned. I was out of the saddle most of the time, putting in 200 W/kg or more. Only dropping below that to wipe sweat and hydrate while in the saddle. I reached the summit in good time, placing in the top 10 and posting a PR. I put in a good dig through the tunnel riser, reaching over 10 W/kg. I posted a negative split on the lap and placing high on the leaderboard. From there it was the cooldown phase. I soft-pedaled till I reached over 20 miles. Then I let the HR drop below 115 BPM. Concentration was good. A bit on the impatient side. Balance and form was good. Not great, though. Ailments, some left hand numbness. Gear worked perfect. Nutrition was good. Minimal hunger signs. I consumed half my Gatorade and some water. Other notes, there were over 1400 riders on this map.
