The weather is a bit warmer. I have an appointment at 2PM, so I got out a bit early. The legs were a bit heavy to start. I made my way up OTR and made it to the summit in average time. From there, it was to Highline. No red-lining it on the climb. The wind was a bit turbulent on the way out to WS. After making it to the turn-around point, I headed back without stopping. I had a modest tailwind most of the way back. I kept the tempo moderate. I was out of the saddle to stretch the legs, otherwise mostly in the saddle. I was calculating how many songs it would take to make it up the last climb. I think it was about 2 songs. After making it to the summit, I made my way back to OTR. I decided against the Banducci summit. The legs just wasn't there today. They need a bit of recovery. I plan on going to SS on the weekend, so I decided to save my energy. After reaching OTR, it was mostly fun and games back home. Concentration was good. The morale felt good, despite the slightly heavy legs. Balance and form was ok, not great. Gear worked flawless. Nutrition was good. No hunger pains. I consumed most of my Gatorade and about half my water. Other notes, I saw one recumbent cyclist and some gliders being towed near WS.
