Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

.Went on a solo ride today. The weather is getting warmer but it wasn't unbearable. I did good time to the top of Banducci, especially since there was a headwind. I decided to do the 3 loops at Stallion Springs. So, I got to Stallion Springs and did the 3 loops. I went to the quickie mart and bought water and gatorade. I decided not to eat my energy bar, after consuming the liquids. Looking back, I think I should have fed.... Will do that the next time do this ride. Ailments, I felt pretty good, only tingling in the hands at times. My back is feeling great, I think my strength training is paying off in this regard. My concentration is good and so is my balance. The balance is better than without the shim, but not exactly perfect. I still have to make conscious adjustments. The bike is working great, with just a few clicking noises from the front wheel. GPS is working great. Gopro turned off I think once or twice, but worked pretty much flawlessly, otherwise. I brought an extra battery and changed it at around 1.5 hours into the ride.
