Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Went riding wih Roger in the afternoon. The weather was beautiful. A northerly cool wind of about 10mph. So, we cruised the downhill. The climb back was a different story. We did modest tempo for about a mile, and then we both went at our own pace. I really felt good today. I held high tempo all the way over the top. I attribut most of this due to the weather (cool, plus tailwind). The bike is working well. GPS working well, Gopro working well. The heartrate monitor needed a little bit of adjusting before I shoved off. After that, it had no problems. Concentration was good. Balance was good, a little laboring on certain parts, but nothing more than 1 minute at times. Ailments, basically none, but slight soreness in upper right calve muscle. I had to wait for Roger at the top of the climb (for about 10 minutes), so that may have skewed my metrics a little bit.
