Went on a late solo ride today. I waited till my new Jersies came in the mail. The weather is heating up, but it's not scorching by any means. The wind was coming from the north. I knew I had good legs in the first 1/4 mile. I did better time than normal, up to the top of the climb, just before the descent. I cruised the descent. I set good tempo at the start of the climb. and slowly lifted the pace. I redlined at the top of the loop moument and brought it down to a tolerable but high tempo. I felt good pretty much the whole way back. No ailments, but a little numbness in the right hand, afterwhich I decided to slow down just a bit. Right knee was slightly sore at one point. Concentration was good, but in and out a few times, definitely not great, but not horrible eiter. Bike is working well, the shifting seems to be working back to normal after having adjusted the rear deraier before the ride. There is still some creaking noises going on. Not very loud but noticable. I haven't figured it out yet. I've tightened the stem bolts and the wheel skewers. It sounds like it's coming from the cranks. Maybe the chainrings need tightning. GoPro worked well today, but I requested an RMA after having so much problems in the past few weeks. The new jersey fits well, but I have one gripe, and that is, the short sleeves are too short. So, I was thinking that I could get a base layer (compression shirt) and have it lengthen the sleeve just a tad. On the other hand the shorter sleeve means I'll have a farmers tan farther up arm. Not sure if that will help... :D
