Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Wen on a solo ride today in the afternoon. The weather was a little unsual. It was in the low 80's and the wind was not behaving like it usually does. Today it was turbulent. I had a headwind on the way out. Tailwind on the way back in the farmlands, and then headwind again after the last climb. Nevertheless, the weather wasn't too bad. Well, the story of the day has to be the little spill I took going up Old Town Road. They recently repaved the road (more like re-tar/patch). As I was going up the second kicker, I was staying on the right side as I usually do. This time, little did I know that there was some loose pavement that I was about to go over. So, one second I was upright and the next I hit the deck on my left side (right on to the tarmac). Fortunately I was going about 10MPH (being that it was uphill). So, I got up, dusted myself off and waited 4 or 5 minutes to see if I could continue. I sustained mostly bumps and bruises, with some road rash on my left outer knee and elbow. So I continued from there, and it ended up being a good ride despite the fact. So... Ailments... obviously soreness from the crash. Otherwise, some numbness in the right fingers at near redline moments. Concentation was good, after I recovered from the crash (which took 10-15 minutes). The bike had problems downshifting by itself towards the end of the ride. I think a little retensioning of the rear shifting cable will fix that up. The GoPro wouldn't change modes at one point. Reseating the battery fixed that problem. I contacted GoPro to see if I could get an advanced replacement. Will see what they have to say about that.
