I tried to get out much earlier but had a few delays that held me up over 1.5 hrs. By the end of the ride it started to get hot. It felt good to be out on the Scott Foil. I was going to use this ride only as a sort of a pre-ride for this later afternoon's ride the middle 1/3 of the ride with my brothers, the intentions is to get a metric century... so this was supposed to be an easy ride and it was for the first 10 plus miles, but I was feeling good and started to get carried away. I started to hold well over 20 mph and started to think I could do this for the rest of the ride. The big goal is to get 100 miles for the day that's why the 38+ miles. So I decided to see if I could an average 20 mph forgetting how slow I did the first 10 miles 16-17 mph. It wasn't until I had 6 miles to go it dawned on me but I decide to keep the pace and see what I would end up with, the last 4 miles was the hardest part to keep the pace. The first 1.75 miles the roads are super bumpy then twisty for 1/2 mile back to bumpy to the end. It is super challenging to the legs and takes huge efforts to maintain any fast pace to the finish.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
