Saturday morning trundle up to the shops for fish & bread, over the Hanover street bridge today to check on the signage. Some years ago the bridge was resurfaced, it went from two narrow footpaths either side to a single wider path on the west and none on the east, and the council muttered words about it being "a bicycle path" (ie shared footpath). There have never been any signs of any kind installed saying whether it is or isn't a shared path, then in the past week a few of the pretty "share the path" and "ring your bell" stencils appeared on the ground... but still no sign saying its a bike path and that you're allowed to ride on it!
