65/90 Solo Male, Loop 1 1:48:16.0, Loop 2 2:25:59.4, Loop 3 2:33:54.6, Total 6:48:10.1. Good pace first loop although 2 stupid mistakes. Fell over while trying to get off the bike - didn't lift my leg high enough to clear the saddle. Stopped to rest and set my bike against barbed-wire fence, taking care to avoid the barbs. When moving my bike to remount, hit the handle bars and knocked the front tire into a barb. Needed a few rotations for the Stans to kick in. Almost cleared first attempt at StB but had to put a foot down near the top. Still got bacon. Even got bacon the next two laps when I just walked the climb. I spit it out when I was out of site. I couldn't breathe! Had to walk climbs late in the first loop, so I knew it was going to be a long day. 5 lbs heavier than last year and not alot of saddle time with the wet trails didn't help either. 2nd. and 3rd. loops, I had no legs for any significant climbs and had to stop quite a few times to recover. Of course some of the stop time was me trying to not get in the way of any racers. I could have carried a bit more water but I had a good fuel/fluid plan. Took 10 min break between loops 1-2 and 15 between 2-3. Not too happy with my fitness but the trail is nothing like anything we have in town. There's 4 loops in the Tyler trail. A and B are "Moderate" and C and D are "Difficult". You ride all 4 per race loop. I'm too old and fat for "difficult" trails. The bike performed well and outside of the puncture, I didn't have any mechanical issues. I should probably avoid this event in the future but I'm not that smart.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
