It was the typical spring-like weather today. In the low 60's. I put on my arm and knee warmers. I removed the knee warmers before the start of the ride. After reaching the summit of WTR, I decided to remove my arm warmers. The descent was cool, but I gauged my clothing right. I cruised the downhill. About 2/3 the way down, there was slow traffic behind me. I decided to push it to the base. After reaching the base, I did the usual u-ee and commenced the ascent. My concentration was off. I put in my mind to keep things from the stand point of landmarks. It helped. I did moderate tempo for the majority of the climb and put in a good average time. Ailments were the lesser of things. I felt comfortable in this respect. Balance and form was good. Gear is working well. Still some mystery clicks. I plan on doing the weekly cleaning, will see if I can do a little investigating. Other notes, there were some folks at the loop monument. When I made it to the top of the loop monument, I turned off my mp3 player for the remainder of the climb. It felt unusual, but it's been that way for the past few days. No doubt making it seem worse.
