Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

The weather got cold in the past few days, including today. It was in the low to mid 40's. I wore the standard winter kit with my new jacket. Like usual, wearing the winter kit inhibits efficiency. Given that, I felt average going out the door. I decided to do Banducci and decided where to go next at the summit. I was thinking of doing the Tour de Teh (R) ride, but decided to turn around and add WTR Summit. I did moderate tempo for the duration of Banducci. The descent was mostly coasting. When I got back to WTR, I had a head-wind, as usual. I kept the tempo steady. It was difficult to lift the tempo above that as the jacket behaved as an air brake. No need to dig deep for an extra mile an hour. After reaching the summit, I took a minute to adjust my clothing and then headed back home. Concentration today was marginally better than the previous ride. Still experiencing gremlins. I was just content with getting this ride under my belt. Ailments consisted of a sore Achilles heel before the ride. It is still sore, but nothing to inhibiting. Balance and form was good, likely the greater of things. Gear is working great. Other notes, I saw 1 cyclist today and some runners/walkers.
