Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Today's weather was polar opposite of the previous ride. In the upper 60's. Winds from the North. Given my concentration wasn't the best lately, I wasn't sure what to expect in that regard. I got out the door, my legs felt average. I cruised it to Route 202. When I started my way up Highline, I increased the tempo. I was doing good tempo to the summit. After-which, I commenced the trip to Willow Springs, again, in moderate to good tempo. I was out of the saddle, digging just a bit at high speed. After making it to the turn around, I made my way back doing moderate tempo for the first half and raising it a bit for the remainder of the Highline leg. No real digs over the top, I kept the tempo going and maintained my momentum. After reaching the end of Highline and Route 202, I breathed a sigh of relief and cruised the downhill. I pushed it over Mariposa and over Weston. Concentration was better today, but the gremlins almost got the best of me on the return leg. Fortunately, I made it back in one piece. Balance and form felt good. I felt like I was on top of the pedal strokes when getting out of the saddle at high speed. Ailments consist of a sore right wrist. I woke up with the wrist feeling sore, I can only imagine that I hit the side of my bed while I was asleep. Gear is working well, almost no noises. Other notes, I saw 2 other cyclists today.
