I've been wanting to get my bike checked out by Belmont Bikes for a while and today looked like I had a window of opportunity to get away from desk.
The shifting has been a little suspect for a while and I actually managed to get it shifting better on my own when I swapped back over to the gravel wheels. It still wasn't 100% and I was going to be nearby anyway so I had them take a look while a grabbed a burrito.
The shifting is much better now but I found out I need a new chain. This current one didn't last very long.
The trails weren't as dry as I thought they'd be, especially John Brooks. There were still some muddy sections and it was just a little wetter than hero dirt, like wet clay. And between the new ruts and some trail damage from people riding in the mud, some of it was really bumpy. My hands actually started to hurt going down Rambler. It could also just be me trying to go at MTB speeds on my gravel bike.
I woke up yesterday morning to the alert about an aggressive mountain lion. I didn't know what that meant. Then I saw this tweet and a news report that one mountain lion killed another one. Dayum! So that's what an aggressive mountain lion is.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
