Oro Valley-Maranna-Avra Valley Road Ride 3-09-22

N'Emonda. Sunny & cool - 50's & 60's, favorable SW winds shifting to West @ 3-8 mph. Ended up with a couple extra miles because RwGPS allowed me to go the wrong way on a one way road - apparently the I-10 frontage roads are one way on each side. A bad section of road way out West - first 2.5 miles on W Avra Valley Rd was in terrible shape then suddenly wonderful with new pavement and a wide shoulder. Other sketchy but tolerable roads were N Trico Road in Avra Valley and Linda Vista Rd East from Twin Peaks.

Good ride with a good average speed. I would do this route again or maybe turn it into a Metric. I dressed just right in Summer kit and stayed warm for the whole ride.

TSS: 128, IF: 63, Avg: 176W, Max: 1,005W, Norm: 179W.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
