Haven't done this one in awhile and now we remember why. Umm, that's a fair bit of climbing right there. Up down, up down, up down. If there was any flat riding, it remains un-remembered... GPS track indicates the memory ain't faulty, either. Unhappy with the decision to go south on Old Vic, which is the main entrance into the catholic high school, aka cars driven by teenagers and parents in a hurry. Companion was too far ahead to stop, sigh. Lovely spring evening, temps in the low 70s, very little humidity. Finished wellll before dark. But jeez louise the knees... They're doing the same thing as this time last year, so back to the regular stretching routine, not just before you ride, dummy. Rest of the body is ... ok. Not used to the multiple-hour road rides. Just gotta grind away til the ol body comes around. w/Dan
