When it's April and you're still trying to get into shape, it's best not to over-do or over-commit. So drop about 12 or 15 miles of that standard Southern Epic route and use the dino-burners to get from one end to the other. We coulda gone farther but it would have been a death march pretty quick, so this was just the right amount of pedaling. Lovely day, temps in the 70s and a breeze but not too strong; sunny. Of course, the forecast is for multiple days barely into the 50s, which after this will seem pretty cold (we've already lost our February cold tolerance!). Legs were feeling some of yesterday's ride, but otherwise were good. Cardio still a bit of a struggle, but it's getting there. w/Dan,Mark
