a hot day! probably 90 something. good group of 10 people headed up chalk Hill they immediately dropped me when I stopped to start this app. and they dropped me on every Hill and waited for me at the top. when I got to Alexander Valley the road there was so beat up, so horribly rough, it really knocked the wind out of my sails. rated f- on road surface quality. at jimtown store I stopped for a rest and emailed the Wizards to let them know I'm okay and will be riding in on my own. had a nice leisurely but strong ride back to Oakville market in Healdsburg where I had lunch, then stopped to visit with Randy at getaway adventures to check out his road bike rentals. I don't rent drop bar road bikes and he has 15 good ones. so that's where I'll send people.
