if you like cows and degraded habitat due to a couple of centuries of grazing, then you will love this ride! very very little vehicle traffic which is wonderful. On a hot summer day like today the cool breeze from the ocean is appreciated and provides a handy tail wind on the return trip back to the school house. I was with a group of 8 or 10 friends who immediately dropped me at the vehicle because I had to go back for water bottle and gloves. but All is well because I really actually prefer riding alone at my own pace and stopping as I decide to take pictures and take in the view etc. highly recommend this route. The last section into Tomales can be a little dicey with more vehicle traffic but you just have to take charge and take the lane and stop cars when necessary to avoid unnecessary passing.
