Nice, quick, warm spring afternoon ride all the way up city creek. Ditch has his 700x40 boots back on, with the 11-46 cassette. Used 1st gear a few times! Not because it was too steep, but because I was knackered. That’s a lot of climbing! Then a lot of FAST and windy descending. So much fun! I used the dropper on the way down to get maximum tuck and aero. Hit so many bugs! That hurt, but was fun. Oh! And the new levers and hydraulic brakes kick ass!!! My god, that can’t be understated. I felt so much more comfortable than before with those shit mechanical brakes, most significantly when flying downhill. I could really open up. And the shifting feels hella crispy. Love it. Gorgeous day. Lots of green and flowers, and the creek was gushing. Two thumbs up.
