PTC to Joe Kurtz WMA

Rode the south part of Oakland road for the first time in awhile and it looks like it's been stolen back from the public and gated now. Although if you come in from the closed bridge there's no gate. The surface after the bridge has recently been graded but with no gravel, it was pretty soft and muddy but passable. Odom road through the WMA was really cool. Curvy gravel around a series of fields. Saw several abandoned farm buildings and houses. Never camped here before, it's excellent. Has several primitive sites near a small pond. Really quiet.
