Early morning start (7:30) with Nancy G. Plan to do 50+ with some hills. I made a game time decision to cut out Picnic and the rest to the base of Oak Hill as being too much very sharp climbing. So we got off Middle St at Depot Rd and went left at Liberty Square to Taylor - quick side trip to Dunkin on 2A/110 at the Littleton Depot stove restoration shop. Finally up Oak Hill. Nancy did fine - would be better off with 1-2 lower gears, but she managed smoothly with what she had (and 12 Skittles at DD).
We did not go into Harvard itself, having decided earlier to eat on our snacks and not get meals. We took a shortcut via Slough to E. Bare Hill cutting off some climbing and about a mile of distance. Then came the rest of the way back. I missed that we were supposed to do Bob's loop returning from Verrill's, so we detoured around Codman to Old Sudbury Rd to 126 to Farrar for a final total of 52+.
Her longest ride to date (her 20 at TGIF and 42 last week are her only bike rides - both with me) - so we're still on course for a century - next week Hubsters because Nancy likes to ride early. Need a moderately hilly 65, an 80 and then the big one.
No pics - she wore only short sleeve jersey. I had 3 top layers including the CRW 50th JACKET - we were both happy with the selections.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
