You know what my original ride title was going to be? "Bob's Donut Run To Stan's Donuts".
The first half of the ride was very pleasant. It got hotter the further south we went and things were starting to go bad for me on Coyote Creek Trail. For some reason we picked up the pace and it was quite hot.
By the time we got to lunch at Mr. Pickles in Morgan Hill, it was an oven. I was hungry on the trail but with the heat, I lost my appetite. There were no tables inside with the A/C. We sat outside for a little bit and I was struggling. A table opened up and so we were able to eat inside but once we got back outside again, I was wrecked.
I didn't feel as bad as I did yesterday but it was definitely hotter today. I just felt a little nauseous and had no desire to push. We had a headwind on the way back which normally would've sucked but at least the wind was cooling (most of the time).
I was also sweating from my finger tips which never normally happens and I had salt on my kit which also never happens.
When we got to Los Gatos we stopped at Baskin-Robbins for ice cream and water. I went from overheated to shivering but at least I felt better.
Afterward, instead of feeling nauseous, I felt bloated from downing so much water. š
We did some new roads today and went through some not so nice neighborhoods. It was a little weird since we've been riding through so many nice neighborhoods recently.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
