It's warm, but comfortable. I headed to the Alpine Forest. The legs felt good from the start. I made it to the end of OTR in good average time. The Banducci Wall had some traffic mitigation. I had some matches left when I arrived at the summit. The Arosa climb went well. The legs felt good and I was able to settle into a good tempo. I was near max over the top. I made my way around the backside. I was cautious on the descents. There was sand in one corner. Good thing I was being conservative. After making it to the summit of Banducci, I pulled over to take a few moments rest, then headed back down the mountain. There was minimal traffic. The descent off the Banducci Wall was super fun. Reaching over 41 MPH. From there I headed down OTR, recovering in the process. I made it over Mariposa. From there, I was able to sit up a bit and make my way back home. Concentration was good. The morale was good. I had stuff to think about. Gear worked flawless. Nutrition was good. I drank most of my Gatorade, no water. Balance and form was good. Ailments, some hand numbness. The right outer tendon near the knee was sore at times, but never escalated. Other notes, I saw one other cyclist today. I think the owner of the Ford Cmax in the Alpine Forest sold the car because I haven't seen it parked at the house for a while now.
