The weather continues to be warm, but the air is on the cool side, winds from the North West. Good day to head to Keene n back. The legs were a bit heavy to start, but got better as the ride progressed. There's road construction on WTR, so I was delayed by a minute or so before reaching the summit of the descent. I put in two digs over the risers. I reached the base at about 49 minutes and change. Give or take. The return trip to home was nonstop on the climb. The body felt good. Joints were compliant, muscles weren't too achy. I was counting the landmarks, looking forward to the next. Definitely helped. I kept the tempo going over the top without heroics. Concentration was good. The morale was a bit low. I found out that my liver enzyme levels went back up a bit. On the other hand, my glucose level went back to normal. Pending the A1C lab results. Balance and form was good. Gear worked flawless. Nutrition was good. No hunger signs. I drank most of my Gatorade bottle, no water. Ailments were minimal. Probably a hint of soreness in the legs and tendons near the knee, ever so slightly, never escalating or detracting. Other notes, no other cyclists today. I bought two saddles, hopefully one of them works better than my current one. Will have to test it out on a Tour de Teh (SS,R) ride. There was a lady that asked for directions to the Loop. I told her that she has to turn back. I hope she found it!
