What are the requirements for routes for the Celebration?
We will highly emphasize detailed routes that include cues and points of interest (POIs) for businesses, but no one will be “disqualified” if they have a good route and cuesheet without POIs.
Are there any prizes for submitting routes to the Celebration?
There are no prizes as a part of the Celebration, other than the pride of showcasing your community to a worldwide audience.
How many routes can I submit?
Each user can submit one route. We will highly emphasize detailed routes that include cues and points of interest (POIs) for businesses, but no one gets “disqualified” if they have a good route and cuesheet without POIs.
What are the Advanced Planning and Editing features that will be available for this route?
All of our Premium Advanced Planning and Editing features will be available. Learn more about them.
How do I access the advanced features for my Celebration route?
For your one celebration route, all users – Starter (free), Basic, and Premium – will have access to all of our Premium features in the route planner. Simply start planning your celebration route and these features will automatically be available to you.
Can I use the Mobile Route Planner to plan a route?
It is easiest to plan your celebration route from our web based route planner. if you don’t have a computer and want to participate from your phone, please email info@ridewithgps.com for more information on how to submit.
Is there a way to highlight Black-owned businesses in my route?
In your POIs, feel free to indicate if a business is Black-owned. We will be taking care to highlight routes that put the spotlight on Black-owned businesses through our social media accounts.
Can I resubmit if I made an error?
Each user can only submit a route one time. However you can edit your route after submission.
How can Organizations submit a route?
Organizations can contribute by submitting a route, and also by sharing with your members and encouraging them to participate.
Should Ambassadors submit a route?
Yes, please! Many Ambassadors have already created amazing routes that fit the bill — ones with custom cues that tell the story of your area, POIs that show off great places to visit and lots of great photos to further enhance your route. Ambassadors are welcome to create a new route that shows off different parts of your community, or submit an existing route.
