Dry Dirt Really Is The Best

Hasn't rained in awhile so the trails were hardpacked and fast. Even with something like 3 miles of pavement, this loop keeps you off roads with traffic except for 500 feet or so on Muncaster Mill and maybe 1000 feet or so on Emory Lane. Nice to not need your head on a swivel all the time, keeping an eye on traffic.

Started out pretty fast because I could then just kinda kept it going. The average speed is skewed by the hot rodding down the paved Rock Creek Trail from 6.1 to 7.8, then more pavement, albeit climbing, from there to about mile 9.

Regardless, it's a good loop to both be in the woods and get a workout that doesn't involve killer climbing. Great solo ride.
