I started out with Dorothee, but immediately, on the 2 mile climb from Joe's house, fell off and never really reattached. She was riding in the company of Nathalie and Tina. I was in the company of Jim and Nadina and a few others. I bailed at the 19 mile mark and took the short route and texted Dorothee not to wait anywhere.
Ellen G picked me up and we rode to Upton for lunch. Mel P showed up there but he was having a tougher day than I was and rapidly fell off the back on the first hill. Ellen split off later to head to a local Greek festival and I rode on until Rich Levine hooked on. He was struggling on the climbs as well - until I introduced him to the Cyclist's Rescue Inhaler of Skittles. 10 did it and he was fine and I got some very long pulls from him getting back to the start.
Everett was among the first of the long riders back and then others began to show up. I drove back along the route and found Dorothee in good shape. She didn't stop to chat and I headed to Concord.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
