The weather has let up a bit. Mild winds from the north west. Somewhat turbulent. I think I made it to the summit in under 10 minutes. A good average time. I cruised the downhill. I put in two digs over the risers. I stopped once to take photos of the train on the lower loop. From there, it was non-stop to the base. I didn't bother checking the time. I headed back without hesitation. The legs felt pretty good. Didn't take much time to warm up. The climb went fast. I had a few things to think about. I kept the landmarks in my mind, passing them one by one. I was in and out of the saddle the entire way up. Mostly out. I kept the momentum going over the top. I relaxed my way back to Weston and shut it down when I reached the top of the hill. Concentration was good. Minimal gremlins. Gear worked flawless. The GoPro Hero 9 is due to arrive soon from an RMA. Balance and form was good. Nutrition was good. I drank most of my Gatorade. No water. Ailments were minimal. Just some mild hand soreness. Other notes, there was one happy spectator at the Loop Monument as I was descending. The train was on its way down as I was making my way to the base. I was able to follow it side by side for a few minutes. Too bad I didn't have my GoPro to capture it on video.
