It’s cold, but rideable. In the low 40’s mild winds from the North West. I wore the full winter kit. The smartphone isn’t working. I can make calls and text, but no mobile data. The legs felt pretty good to start. Didn’t take much to get warmed up. I made it to the summit of OTR in good average time. The Banducci Wall was partial traffic mitigation, otherwise went well. The Arosa climb was the usual. I was able to concentrate and get on with Business. I was near max over the top, but I had matches left. I made my way around the backside. There's snow and ice on the road, so I was extra precautious. After reaching the summit of Banducci, I pulled over to recoup. I fed a Clif Bar as was planned. From there, I headed back down the mountain. I made my way to OTR, had some fun and pushed over Mariposa. I shut it down after reaching the summit of Weston. Concentration was good. I had a few things to think about, the music helped too. Gear worked perfect. I'm still without a camera, so no go on that. Nutrition was good. I drank about 3/4ths of my Gatorade and some water. I fed one Clif Bar. Balance and form was good. Ailments were minimal. Just a bit of coldness on the descents. Glad I brought my full kit. Other notes, no other cyclists.
