Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I chose this map because I needed something that would last less than an hour with a bit of exploration. I got what I wanted. Less than 1k of climbing and 15 miles. I completed it in under 50 minutes. There was a lot of twisting and turning. A bit dizzying. I'm using a new TV. It's a 50". I think I'll have to downsize. It's neat to watch Zwift on a big screen, but detracts if it's too big. The latter is true in this case. The ride went as planned. There was enough climbing to get the blood pumping. I joined a leader group for a few minutes towards the last half of the ride. I put in a modest dig through the sprint zone nearing the end of the ride. Nothing to write home about. My Holo Replay showed up. I think I got top 50 or 70 something. After reaching the finish, I shut it down to an immediate cooldown. Concentration was good, but a bit impatient. Balance and form was good. I adjusted the saddle tilt a bit up. I think I got it right. Pending confirmaiton. Gear worked flawless. Nutrition was good. I went through about half my Gatorade, no water. Ailments,none. Other notes, there were about 5 or 6 thousand riders when I hopped on. The game recorder worked this time without stopping. This is the first ride of the year.
