Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I'm winding down my rides, continuing preparations for the GranFondo. A few days ago, I was thinking of just going to the top of Highline. When I got up today, I felt like going a bit further. So, I decided to to Willow Springs n Back. The temperature has cooled off. It was in the low 50's when I got out, with cold winds from the North West. I wore my arm warmers, 1 base layer and the standard kit. I probably could have worn knee warmers. Any colder and I would have needed my skull cap. I'm thinking for the GranFondo that I will likely need both arm and knee warmers. The predicted temperature on that day is 83/50 degrees. I''m anticipating that I will need them up until the first rest stop. Now for today's ride. I took it real easy going up OTR. My legs felt good. I made an adjustment to my saddle yesterday. I noticed that the nose of the saddle was pointing up just a bit. So I adjusted it to be more level. When I got out, I noticed that I felt like I was sliding forward on the saddle. Also, I felt like I was riding lower on the saddle. I'm assuming this is due to the adjustment. I got used to it, but my right knee was somewhat sore. I'm not sure if this was due to the saddle adjustment, but also, perhaps the change in the cleat stance (wider). I'm going to ride on Thursday to confirm. That will be my last day to make adjustments to my fit on the bike. Other than that, there's not much to tell about the ride, other than I stretched my legs. Put in some good tempo pushes for no more than a minute. My body is responding well. Concentration seems to be spot on. Balance and form is good. Although, as mentioned, I may need to make a last minute adjustment to my saddle position. Ailments are minimal. I'm a little concerned about my right knee, it was sore, but never escalated on the ride. Gear is working well. I put a queue sheet on my top tube, it's going to work just fine. Gopro is working well. No problems with my smartphone. Other notes, my diet is going to be restricted from here on. I'm going easy on the sugars and fruit. When I got back, I noticed that I had to double bio. I was stubborn before the ride and didn't do a proper bio. A lesson learned. No other cyclists today.
