I was a little overdressed. When I stepped out to check the temperature it seemed cool but the air was actually warm and humid. I stripped layers pretty soon after starting.
Not even 10 miles in, my freshly lubed chain was sound dry and whiny. Had to live with that the rest of the ride.
All the waterways were quite full except for the Foster City lagoon surprisingly. Also surprising was Woodside seemed to have the most mud on the roads. I don't know if that's because it had more flooding and run-off or just less cars driving through to clear it.
Finally got to take the bike bridge at Facebook. Seems like a better route than the normal way we take on Willow.
Got stopped on Canada as crews were clearing a mudslide and ran into Jerry and his friend Peter. I've been wanting to chat with Jerry for a while so it was nice to see him.
I forgot that the Ralston Bike Path was closed and had to do the Bunker Hill detour again.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
