It's cold but definitely rideable. The stomach has been a bit sour in the past two days. I think it's getting better, but slightly. I wore the usual winter gear with short gloves. It's in the upper 40's, mild winds from the North West. I made it to the summit of the descent in good time. The descent went as normal. I put in two digs over the risers. I stopped twice to take photos. I didn't bother checking the time at the base of the climb. The climb went so so. I was a bit impatient and the stomach continued to feel ever so slightly sour. Kinda sapped the strength out of the legs. I kept coaching myself, trying to keep the mind active. After making it past the Loop Monument, the morale felt better. It was one of those "just keep your head down" kind of days. After reaching the summit, I was able to relax. I made it to the top of Weston after I shut it down. Concentration was good. Ailments, sour GI, otherwise all was well. Balance and form felt good. Gear worked flawless. Nutrition was good. I was drinking water more than Gatorade to keep the stomach in check. Other notes, no other cyclists today. There some visitors at the Loop Monument on my way back up.
