Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I was scheduled to ride yesterday, but my primary PC wouldn't boot up and I had to fix it. I was able to get out today and do the ride I planned. The weather was cold, in the mid/low 50's. Strong winds from the North West. I wore the standard kit with arms and knee warmers. I had a significant headwind on the way back, which means I had a generous tailwind on the way back. I felt good for most of the ascent. My legs were responding well. I kept the pace within my limits, never red-lining. After reaching the Loop Monument, I was able to relax a bit. I kept the pace steady for the remainder of the ascent. Concentration was good. Some hints of gremlins, but nothing I couldn't handle. Balance and form felt good. Ailments were next to none. Gear worked flawless. Other notes... I'm trying to make preparations for the fall/winter months. Of course, I want to keep riding out doors, especially on the days that the weather is cool, typical of this time of the year. My other thoughts were mountain biking and indoor training. I'm trying to think of places to ride. Of course there is the canyon. I wanted to try the fire road out near SS. Perhaps this year, if I can get the courage to go. I'll have to make a road trip to SS, then park somewhere and ride to the fire roads. I think it goes all the way to Arvin. The indoor training peaks my interest because there's virtual training software and better trainers these days. I can set the trainer in the garage and use my laptop to run the virtual software. I need to find a trainer that suits my criteria. At this point, I need something that simulate inertia equally important as resistance. In other words I'm looking for the most realistic sensation for my budget, around $500. Resistance/Strength training will remain the same.
