Day started out with an amazing breakfast down at Scrambled. Invited one of the boys, Joe Ruggles, out to join me. Had a great time visiting with him for an hour or so off the bike. Looking forward to hanging out with him again. I plan on inviting a few other riders out to breakfast on the regular. I was dressed almost perfectly when I left the house. I had debated between vest and full jacket and upon walking outside went right back in for the jacket. Kinda regretted it after breakfast though. Once the sun was up and I started putting in some work on the flats I warmed up quite nicely. As I got closer to work I was definitely on the warm side despite having the jacket open just about as much as I could get it. In hindsight I should have just gone with the vest, oh well live and learn. Ride home was thankfully uneventful. Went through and nabbed some Wandrer miles in a few neighborhoods that are tough to get to in the mornings. I also tried to stop at a Starbucks along the way to grab some coffee for the morning, but they were out of Italian Roast!
