Today's weather was a bit warm, but comfortable. Somewhat turbulent wind conditions, mostly from the North West. My legs felt good today. I was able to put the power down within 5 to 10 minutes of warming up. I made it to the end of OTR in good time. From there, I put in my mind that I was going to do modest tempo to Willow Springs. I followed that plan. Focusing on balance and form most of the way out. The return trip started modest, till I got past the first mile. Then I increased the tempo a bit. I continued to feel good at this time. Knowing that this was a single ride, I knew I could make it back no matter what I put down on the road. The last few kickers was good to high tempo. Recovery on the descent and then the last riser, doing moderate to good tempo. From there, I headed down OTR. I decided to visit Roger at the Torah center, but he looked to have company when I got there, so I departed just as quick. The remainder was the last half mile or so to Mariposa, a modest dig and then home. Concentration felt good, no lapses worth mentioning, No gremlins today. Balance and form felt good. Ailments consisted of right hand numbness, some lower quad soreness in the right leg, that did not escalate. Other notes, I saw only one other cyclist. My mountain bike tire is due to arrive today. With luck, I should be able to get out on Sunday.
