Got out in the late morning today. Weather was nice and cool. Wore Arms and Legs, 2 layers. I've tried the XL jersey now, for about 3 days. I still haven't made up my mind. I have to wait till next when the L jerseys gets here. If I can't decide then, I think I might just keep 2 of each. So, the ride... The wind was from the north, so headwind on the way back. The headwind turned out to be more than I anticipated. I could hardly keep up at 14mph on the way back, through the crosswind and head wind. Otherwise, ailments. My right calve felt good, but my lower back started to get sore after more than half way through. I changed my saddle position and out of the saddle. It seemed to help. I think with another week or two, my back will gain strength. My concentration, on the otherhand was good. I was riding somewhat of a high because of the new componentry that I was getting used to. Balance was also good, no problems there. So, today, the Di2 worked flawless. The levers, I think, need to be adjusted upwards. So, I moved them slightly upwards just 5 minutes ago. I want to do a warm up ride tomorrow and dial in the position. All other electronics are working well. GPS had a misreading for the HR monitor on part of the ride. But I think it was only for about 2 or 3 minutes. The headlight was out when I got back, but I've no clue when the batteries went depleted. Gopro also working well. I'm optomistic about how my fitness is coming along, given that I road the past few consecutive days.
