Tenerife day 6

Today I'm saying goodbye to the Teide mountain range and heading down to the north west peak of the island, Buenavista del Norte.
Started in dawn jacket and ended in short bib.
Along the way I took, again, many pictures of lava fields and Teida peak. I'm amazed by the volcanos and cannot keep my camera off.
Once I got above the North coast incredible view of the whole area appeared and I can see insanely steep downhill road that I had to take. As I have rim brakes, I had to ride slow and with the brakes to let my hands relax. It was unbelievable, it showed on profile -44% and it wasn't laying.
If situation allows, I'll try to stay an extra day and maybe take a swim.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
